We Give Back
Paying heed to the maxim "To whom much is given, much is expected", Marigold Catering has long been active in the Cleveland community, donating generously from our company's resources and small amount of free time to the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, the Cleveland Animal Protective League, the AIDS Task Force, and an issue for which, as a caterer, we have particular concern: hunger. Every Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter morning finds Joan and members of our staff supervising the kitchens of St. Augustine in Tremont, coordinating efforts to feed Cleveland's homeless and less fortunate.
In 2009, we launched The Cleveland Renegade Lunch Project, a traveling restaurant that offers 20-30 lucky diners (first come, first served) a free, impromptu lunch to benefit a featured charity of the month. Meals are prepared tableside and served by a professional service staff on china, glass and silver. At the end of each event, guests are asked for a small donation.
These lunches have helped us build a sense of community and excitement in our fair city one meal at a time! To date, we've raised over $8,000 for local non-profits.
